Our story ❤

Bill and I started dating in October of 2015, we initially met through my sister and his cousin years before we started dating. Bill is 5 years older than me and went to the same nursing school as I did but graduated 5 years earlier. When I was in nursing school Bill would always check in on me and ask me if I ever needed any help with any of my classes, I would always tell him no. Until one day I texted him asking him if he would be willing to write a 15 page paper for me (hahaha). We have been together ever since and the rest is history. Spoiler alert: He did not write the paper, he provided some great articles I could use for my research. Bill and I were long distance for the entire first year of our relationship while he was serving in the U.S. Air Force stationed in Virginia. When he separated from the military we moved in together in Center City Philadelphia. Soon after he began Anesthesia school full-time and about a year after he started graduate school, I also enrolled in graduate school to become a Nurse Practitioner. The summer before I started school Bill and I decided to take a trip to Ocean City, Maryland - we always like to take a small trip just the two of us every summer. Bill proposed to me on August 19, 2021 in Ocean City, Maryland. He tricked me into making sure I was dressed nice by telling me we were going to a very high end brunch, but before we went to brunch he took me onto a dock that morning to enjoy the views on the water. He completely took me by surprise and swept me off my feet when he got on one knee and proposed. I was in complete shock. He also hired a photographer that was hiding in bushes to capture it all. The wedding planning was very stressful to say the least considering we were both in school full-time. I became a licensed real estate agent, was working as a real estate agent, a registered nurse, doing my clinical rotations for school, and studying - all while planning a wedding. Plus the added stress of COVID-19 precautions. Looking back I was definitely crazy for planning the wedding myself without the help of a wedding planner. However, all of it was worth it and the day turned out to be absolutely gorgeous. In our married life we are looking forward to traveling the world together and growing a family. We are already expecting our first child while looking for our forever home. We are so excited to embark on this journey together as husband and wife. We are confident we will conquer all of our life goals as long as we have each other.
